We are proud to release 0.7 of Snap. There are tons of great productity enhancements in this version. Major new features are: Dialing Rules, a TAPI driver (supports software such as ACT!), and indexing for Mozilla Thunderbird (your contacts can be quickly searched and called from the search bar).

For those that may be interested, I have also received a report that Snap index's Sharepoint contacts as well. This sounds like a promising way to import a customer list.

The changelog is located here and the download is here. Support for eyeBeam 1.5 and Skype was also added. For Asterisk users, please take a look closely at the "Variable" field. Some phones may be able to auto answer when using it thus saving one more step when dialing.

We are officially announcing our Mozilla extensions today. This means you can dial from directly inside of Firefox and Thunderbird. A lot of fuss has been generated about being able to dial from inside of Outlook...well...now anyone that uses a webmail service can dial as well!

How does it work? The extension automatically detects phone numbers on webpages and turns them into clickable links. When you click the link, your phone will ring immediately. Pick up the phone and you will be connected to the phone number you clicked. If a format isn't supported, select the phone number with your mouse, right click, and click Dial.

Hey everyone,

We had promised to release Thunderbird support this week, and well here it is:

Download the XPI


It was delayed a bit, but should be well worth it due to some technical issues and enhancements ;) we decided to throw in, for example. We also included support for FIREFOX!!!

To install for:
Firefox: Unzip the download and drag-drop the XPI into Firefox
Thunderbird: Unzip the download and locate the file via the Tools -> Extensions -> Install option inside of Thunderbird.
