We are officially announcing our Mozilla extensions today. This means you can dial from directly inside of Firefox and Thunderbird. A lot of fuss has been generated about being able to dial from inside of Outlook...well...now anyone that uses a webmail service can dial as well!

How does it work? The extension automatically detects phone numbers on webpages and turns them into clickable links. When you click the link, your phone will ring immediately. Pick up the phone and you will be connected to the phone number you clicked. If a format isn't supported, select the phone number with your mouse, right click, and click Dial.

The current version of Snap was also updated to 0.7 RC2. The change log is here and the download is here. Snap now also supports dialing for all eyeBeam, Skype, Vonage, and has a special "Path" advanced flexibility.

One of the great things about the Firefox extension is that it supports most Ajax enabled websites (Websites that are generated dynamically in the web browser), this lets us support Gmail & Yahoo! Mail users.

The Mozilla plugins can be downloaded from the home page.

There were no coding enhancements or special modules to install into SugarCRM (or any other CRM for that matter), it just works!

We did our best to match as many possible formats for phone numbers as possible. If we missed a format, feel free to e-mail us, use the forums, or post a comment so we can add it into our next version.
