We are proud to release 0.7 of Snap. There are tons of great productity enhancements in this version. Major new features are: Dialing Rules, a TAPI driver (supports software such as ACT!), and indexing for Mozilla Thunderbird (your contacts can be quickly searched and called from the search bar).
For those that may be interested, I have also received a report that Snap index's Sharepoint contacts as well. This sounds like a promising way to import a customer list.
The changelog is located here and the download is here. Support for eyeBeam 1.5 and Skype was also added. For Asterisk users, please take a look closely at the "Variable" field. Some phones may be able to auto answer when using it thus saving one more step when dialing.
We take custom requests for features and orders so please feel free to contact us either via the forum, irc, or phone. You can contact us via irc for support issues (irc.freenode.net -#snap).
A special thanks goes to Grungean and Alexander Altshuler for helping make this release possible.

This is great, when will you support open office?

We had checked into Open Office a few months ago and did not see that they supported smart tags. Hopefully they will or do now (will look back into it after VON next week).

I've been trying to use SNAP, however the dialing rules seem to be a bit rubbish. How do I simply force a '0' to be appended to all numbers which don't start with a '3' or are exactly three digits??
